Holy crap.

Seriously.

Did you watch the Belmont/Duke game?

If you didn't because you thought it would be a shutout - you would be highly disappointed.

This was the best game of my life.

The BEST.

Go here and watch Belmont's coach, Rick Byrd and Duke's coach, Mike Kssdkfdkghskfgsky (ha) talk about their respective win and loss.

The BEST.

And though Belmont "lost" - their loss couldn't have been better. What I mean is, if you're going to lose, there just isn't a better way. They played their hearts out - they were a head many times - and they kept a basketball powerhouse at bay.

In my book, that is no loss. It's a huge win - and I hope all of my wonderful Bruins feel the same way. :)

When I saw the initial matchup I KNEW they would get beat down but the wife & I watched anyways. We were crushed when they lost but I am so proud of our local boys!

Belmont has three black players?

I was pulling for Belmont. There. I said it. A Lipscomb kid. Pulling for Belmont. I couldn't help it! They put up such a great fight! And honestly, I think Belmont is the reason they lost in the next round. So in the end they defeated Duke after all!

But as a true Lipscomb grad I must say: I'll never root for Belmont again...
