Happy Friday!

Seriously, today is gorgeous! It is absolutely amazing here in Nashville...and to have come after such a nasty day yesterday.

I really don't have much to say except that.

Oh, I do need some advice if anyone wants to offer some up -

Wednesday night I left my sunroof open in my Jetta and that was fortuitously the night that it stormed cats and dogs. I went out to my car early Thursday morning, trying to leave early and beat the throngs of commuters since it was raining. I opened my car door and was greeted by a wave of water rushing out of my car...

Just kidding...but seriously, it was sopping wet in there...

Does anyone know what I should do? Right now, all my windows are open just airing it out. I like to workout...but I don't want my car to smell like a dirty, wet athletic sock.

Advice? Sympathy? All is accepted here.

Ok, maybe it's just me, but I can't help but think that subconsciously you WANTED to punish your Jetta for being such an unreliable piece of ....

You have leather, so consider yourself fortunate. Granted, leather and water don't play nice together, but it sure beats plopping your tush down into a soaked sponge! Be glad you don't have a cloth interior...

My best advice is to sell that thing before all the little electronic switches and gizmos (power seats, windows, butt warmers, etc-etc) stop working as a result of the bath they took...

Somewhere out there, at an obscure auto salvage yard, you can't help but think the remnants of a particular totaled Honda Accord is laughing manically...

I just caught up on the entries going back to Valentine's day...gotta say that I love reading your blog. :)

As for the car situation...I haven't owned a vehicle in 2.5 years, so I'm useless.

Sort of how it was in Maryland, too. Hurrah for spring!

Keep airing it out, then maybe spray some Febreze on the upholstery if the smell of mildew lingers?

To me, in humid climates like the south, everything smells like mildew. So I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help.

Xanthuos, I'm glad that you like reading my blog...and it's okay that you can't give me advice...it means enough that you come here and read! :)

Malnurtured Snay, Hi! Welcome! I also can't wait for Spring! I sat at the park for a good portion of the day and it was amazing! A little chilly...but totally worth it. Can't wait for warmth!
